The second level course is designed for Yoga practitioners who have already completed the Primary Level Course or whom are already teaching Yoga. The aim of this course is to deepen in the sequence of the primary and secondary series, polishing the asanas and alignment. Pranayama will be practiced more intensively and with study on benefit and contraindication for each technique. Yogic philosophy and lifestyle will be considered in order to form comprehensive Yoga practitioners.
You will gain the confidence needed to move further with your own self-practice and to share your knowledge following this Intensive Course. No more than 20 people will be in the classes to ensure the proper attention to all the students. Indians and foreigners are welcome.
The Second Level Program will emphasize the following subjects:
Full Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series, first and second level, both guided and Mysore Style.
Learning the art of alignment and refinement of each asana in the primary series.
Relaxation techniques for following intense practices of the asanas.
Types of Pranayama and Bandhas in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
Pranayama practice of Kapalbhati, Bhastrika, Ujjai and NadiShodhnam in a medium intensity.
Satsanga: talks on Sankhya Yoga, discussion of previous and present practices, and talks and work on Pranmayakosha (Mauna, Pranayama, Bandhas and Mudras).
