The primary level of Hatha Yoga is designed for practitioners who have completed a minimum 200-hour Yoga teacher training course or equivalent background. In this course we will provide you the knowledge, tools and confidence to keep your self-practice active and improving. We will focus on the integration of Pranayama techniques into your Asanas to obtain the most benefit in your daily practice and your daily life. We will complement this with the teachings and practice of philosophy, spirituality and the Yogic lifestyle. Following this course you will have the confidence to practice and share these teachings. Classes will have no more than 20 students and are open to Indians and foreigners.
The primary level intense course will emphasize these subjects:
Introduction to Hatha Yoga science in both a philosophical and practical manner.
Pawan Mukta Asanas, first and second level, with contraindication and benefit.
Classical Hatha Yoga Suryanamashkar and its modification
Hatha Series of Asanas with proper correction and understanding. (Tad asana, Vrakshasana, Uthita Trikonasana, Uthita Parshvakonasana, Veerbhadra asanas a and b, Parshvottanasana, Bharadwaj asana a, Urdhava Dhanurasana, Salamba Sarvangasana, Halaasana, Ardha Matseyendrasana and Shavasana).
Satsanga: dialog on previous and present practices, how to work on and understand Ananmayakosha in a practical manner, (Satvik food, Fasting, Austerity, Asana and purifying elemental body).
Introduction to Pranayama, practical knowledge of Kapalbhati variation 1, Bhastrika variation 1, Shitali variation 1, Ujjai variation 1 and Nadi Sodhan variation 1.
The art of relaxation with proper guidance .
Shat Kriya (Jal neti, Akunchan prakshalanam and Agni sara).
