These are intensive courses. They are challenging to both the body and mind. We advise you to consider this before you apply. These studies will require your full attention and discipline. Even free time and days off must be spent immersed in this Yogic experience. You must commit yourself to active participation, full devotion, and to be of one mind.
We expect you to prepare yourself for this intensive experience. You will need to be actively working and studying in your self-practice, in Yoga theory and in the Yogic lifestyle. For each course we will recommend specific reading material to cover in advance so that you may arrive focused on the topics covered in the course.
To ensure the course objectives are reached within the course duration, students must dedicate most of their free time to self-study and to review and to the exploration of daily topics. Allow your lessons to be the topic of discussion with other classmates while having your cup of chai.
The course requires following Yogic discipline and lifestyle for the duration, as well as showing respect to the teacher, staff and classmates at all times
We expect you to share the knowledge you acquire in this course with others in the manner in which it is given, as well as being an example of humility and honesty in all aspects of your life. You will be an ambassador of the Rishikul Foundation wherever you may be. The message you will share will represent not only yourself, but also the Rishikul Foundation and what we are seeking to do here.
“Oh beloved yogis, please share devotion, dedication and respect in Yoga
teachings and learnings. Otherwise we will lose our precious culture, our
art of living, the harmony between body, breath and mind and the
blessings from our masters.
Without these qualities, the ancient Yogic Science
will be lost for the next generations”
