The second level course is designed for Yoga practitioners who have already completed the Primary Level Course or are already teaching Yoga. This course seeks to deepen the understanding of the Asanas and alignment. Pranayama will be practiced more intensively with advanced study of benefits and contraindications for each technique. You will gain the confidence needed to move further with your self-practice and to share your knowledge through this Intensive Course. Yogic philosophy and lifestyle will be considered in order to form more comprehensive Yoga practitioners. No more than 20 people will be in the classes to ensure the proper attention to all the students. Indians and foreigners are welcome.
The Second level course will emphasize these subjects:
Workshops on Hips, Shoulder, girdle opening and back bending to improve intermediate asanas.
Satsunga: Question and answers related to previous and present practices. Discuss what types of injury could happen while performing different asanas. Discussion on Sankhya Yoga and talk and teachings on Pranmayakosha (Pranayama, Bandhas and Mudras).
Asana review of previous practices level 1 and 2, with addition and review of Supta Veer asana, Moon salutation, Adhomukha Vrakshasana and its preparations, Head Stand and its Variations, Paschimottanasana, Janusirshasana, Bhujapidasana, Salabhasana variations, Ushtrasana, Upavisthakon asana Variations Padmasana and its variations and Shavasana.
Pranayama: review of first level technique and understanding with addition of Kapalbhati second level, Bhastrika second level, Ujjai the second level, Shitkari, Nadishodhnam second level and advanced relaxation techniques.
